Trailer Maintenace

How do I prevent braking action on my actuator when brakes aren’t required?

For Tie Down Engineering actuators, you can disable braking during maneuvers such as reversing by inserting a safety pin into the lower forward hole on the actuator housing. This locks the actuator and prevents it from telescoping, thus blocking brake application. This same pin also functions as a required safety lock for the coupler latch, ensuring the trailer remains securely attached to the hitch ball during tow.
