How do I adjust my disc brakes?

Inspect Pads: Check brake pad thickness regularly; replace when worn.
Inspect Rotors: Look for pitting, scoring, or rust — common issues in saltwater use.
Check Calipers: Ensure calipers slide freely and are not seized.
Maintain Fluid: Keep hydraulic fluid clean and topped off to ensure proper brake pressure.
Rinse After Saltwater Use: Hose down brakes thoroughly (disc brakes don’t have flush ports like drums).

Unlike drum brakes, disc brakes are self-adjusting and do not require manual adjustment. The calipers automatically compensate for pad wear, ensuring consistent braking performance without the need for periodic tightening or alignment.
